Life and Fairy Tales

Filed under: Uncategorized — everfaith @ 7:27 pm

“There was once a rich man who lived with his wife and daughter… in honor of the prince and Cinderella.”

~Cinderella, Original Fairy Tales from the Brothers Grimm, Classic Edition

“Dorthy was a pretty little girl, always happy and gay… in the great dessert which guards the wonderful Land of Oz.”

~The Wizard of Oz, By L. Frank Baum, Adapted and Abridged by Mary Crushing and Dorthea Williams

These are only two of the fairy tales of the world.  There are Tens of thousands and every single one, has a happy ending.  They are written and re-written, and turned into movies, and if the movie was good there will no doubt be a book based on the movie.  Another book from which will emerge more creations and stories and soon a remake of the movie, not to mention all of the ‘Special Edition’ copies!

But Real Life is nothing like it is in the fairy tales!  There are no happy endings in life.  Wonderful things happen in life, but these aren’t endings.  Humans are mortal, and as a Christian I must except that.   There is only one happy ending, and one story.  ‘The End’ is coming, and it is also bringing Jesus, so beware non-believers, the time for change has come.

A Garden of Life

Filed under: Fruit of the Spirit — everfaith @ 12:40 am

In Heaven God has a garden of life full of: Love, Joy, Peace, Patience, Kindness, Goodness, Faithfulness, Gentleness, and Self-Control. And here on earth we probably have gardens of: Apples, Grapes, Watermelons, Carrots, Corn, Strawberries, Peaches, Tomatoes, and Egg-plants. Well we grow living fruit, the fruit of the spirit, which is what is in God’s Garden.

We can think of our hearts as a Garden, but not just any garden, a Garden of Life. Our Gardens, in our hearts aren’t much different than an earthly garden. Well, what is the difference? Both gardens grow fruit and both need to be taken care of. The difference is in the purpose, the purpose of an earthly garden is for food, or maybe even for a prize at a fair; while the purpose of God’s Garden is to help you go to Heaven.

When Jesus returns, he will harvest our fruit, those with good fruit will go to heaven and they shall feast off their fruit and they will grow more forever. But everyone with no fruit or fruit that the birds and rabbits spoiled, shall have seven years to grow more.

If they still don’t have good fruit, they shall perish. And them, and their fruit, shall be burned. So we should try to spread the word, that no one has to die.

“I am the way the truth and the light.” ” He is the vine, and we are the branches.”
